Studio Policies

-We are a smoke free and nut free environment.

-The studio is not responsible for any personal property.  Clearly mark all personal items.

-Cover ups should be worn over dance attire in public at all times.

-Cover or warm ups are not allowed in class.  Solid leg warmers, ballet shrugs, etc. are permitted in class during colder months while the dancer warms up.

-Students are expected to be on time for classes and early dismissal needs to be approved first.  If a student misses the first 15 mins of class he/she will be asked to sit and observe.

-Eating is not permitted in studios or dressing rooms.  Remember we are nut free.  Only clear water is permitted in studios.

-CBT reserves the right to limit any dancer who is not fully adhering to all studio policies in regards to behavior, language, attire or disrespect toward others.  Parents are to be cautious of talk in the waiting rooms and on premises and genuinely respect others and their differences.

-Girls must have hair pulled back into a classical bun for all ballet classes.  For other classes, such as modern, hair may be pulled back into a secure ponytail, braid, etc.  Boys hair needs to be combed nicely.

-Weather safety precautions.  Severe weather happens in Tennessee.  When it does we will close for the safety for the children and will notify you by email, Facebook and Twitter.  If children are at the studio when it happens we have a plan of safety for tornadoes and other weather.    On a chance that the weather clears up we will post on email, Facebook and Twitter that classes have resumed.  We always have you determine whether it is safe or not to attend.

-Students are encouraged to make up any missed classes.  Notify Mrs. Howell for times and days.

-Refunds are not issued for classes missed.

-Withdrawal from a student of a class must be done two weeks ahead of time in writing.  No refund will be given if the cancellation is done after 2 class meetings.  If it is within the first 2 meeting times a $25.00 cancellation fee is required.

School and Classical Arts

The two go hand in hand. Please discuss with Mrs. Howell if your dancer is not living up to standards at home or at school and a break from dance may be necessary. If the two work together you will see a pattern of discipline in how the dancer thinks, acts and uses their time. We love smart dancers!

Spring Hill Facility

This facility has one deck, common area within building and a waiting room for those who are waiting on dancers. There are (2) studios. The floors are sprung with a marley overlay. One public restroom in the common area and one internal bathroom for the dancers and teachers. Water is accessible.

When entering The Commons we ask that you drive around to our entrance at the back of the building. There should be plenty of parking. If there is not ample parking spaces then you can park in the front area. Handicap parking is located in front of Early’s shop.

We know that getting back out on to Hwy 31 is a bit tricky. We would ask for the safety of everyone that all cars turn right out of The Commons. There are ways to get north by turning right again like you are going to Harvey Park and then right one more time and this will take you to the light in front of Lowes.
